Join us to learn all about the craft of sourdough from a friend of the farm and favorite local baker, Grayling Bauer of Sparrowbush Bakery. Attendees will be shown how to make and care for a starter, proof dough, shape loaves, and bake off for various styles. Grayling will explain the process from start to finish, demonstrate techniques, and answer all the pressing questions you've been waiting to ask a professional baker.
We will serve refreshments throughout the afternoon, including a board of Churchtown Dairy cheeses, fresh bread, fruit, coffee, and our own herbal tea for the group to enjoy as they learn.
