"Life After Progress: Technology, Community and the New Economy” edited Helena Norberg-Hodge and Steven Gorelick.

For our February Book Club meeting, we will discuss a collection of essays from the staff of the acclaimed Local Futures publication. Each piece of writing featured in "Life After Progress" promotes an economics of personal, social and ecological well-being. The Book Club conversation will be a wonderful opportunity to gather with folks in our area to discuss localization and rethinking our habits as consumers.

Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) to discuss topics surrounding land, history, ecology, and community.
